Return Policy

General
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from our site!
If you are not happy with a product (excluding items on our non-refundable items list – see below) you can return it to us for a refund of the purchase price (less the original shipping and handling costs). For our customers in the USA, we will even cover the return shipping costs. Please note that we only accept returns within 30 days of the shipment date and the returned product must meet our requirements detailed below.

Return Process
To return products, email our customer service at hello@thebetterdiamonds.com to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (“RMA“) number before shipping your product. No returns of any type will be accepted without an RMA number. Once the RMA number has been issued, you have 7 days to ship your return using our return label.
In case of return shipping for customers within the USA, we will provide you with a pre-paid insured return shipping label, together with instructions on how to prepare your return.
We permit one return per customer, per year.
It is essential to enclose all the original packaging and accompanying items with your return. Items must be in their original purchased condition, including; the item returned, the ring box, leather booklet, diamond certificate (to avoid a certificate replacement charge of $120) and ring appraisal.
An item returned without The Better Diamonds unique box and accompanying items will be charged $500.
  • Your items must be placed inside the original Better Diamonds box as they were delivered to you.
  • Please place the Better Diamonds Box inside the original outside packaging you received. If you do not have the original outside packaging, please use another outer box.
  • Apply the label we provided you to the outside of the box and write the RMA number on the label.
  • Drop off the labeled package at a FedEx official service center.
Please note that we will not be responsible for packages dropped off in non-staffed locations. We advise that you choose your drop off location carefully and request a drop off receipt to confirm that the shipment has been received. This will be your proof for insurance purposes.
We will not be responsible for any returns that are shipped without using our assigned shipping label.
For security reasons, please avoid writing anything on the outer packaging that could be used to identify its contents.
Returns will be shipped to Malca Amit (or another vendor, as we may instruct you in writing) via FedEx with a shipping label provided by us. Malca Amit, a leading diamond shipping company, will inspect the returned item (we may choose different, additional or other service provides to provide such services, at our sole discretion). Unboxing of returned items is done under recorded video. Our diamonds are laser inscribed with an identifier number, which will be used to verify the returned diamond authenticity. Once the return is approved, which usually takes up to 3 business days from receipt of the returned item by Malca Amit, we will issue a refund using the same means of payment that the purchase was originally made, excluding bank wire payments-which will be refunded by check.

Non-Refundable Items

  • Orders that have been engraved are not eligible for return and shall be considered a final sale.
  • Items shipped for return beyond the 30-day return period or more than 7 days after an RMA number has been issued.
  • Items returned without a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) will be refused upon receipt. Returns with missing items or products will not be fully credited.

Non-Resizable Items

Few milgrain, ornated bands or diamond eternity bands cannot be resized, so please make sure to order the correct ring size when placing your order.
